ESTELLE ELISE SMITH ADKINS
Wife of Homer Martin Adkins, 32nd Governor (1941-1945)

Mrs. Adkins wore a floor-length, pink silk crepe and lace inaugural gown. The bodice features a V neckline and a dropped waistline in back that rises to a point in the front. The long sleeves fit snuggly. The bell shaped overskirt is made of rose point lace over net. White satin shoes, white kid formal gloves, a pink georgette evening handkerchief and a pearl necklace were worn with the dress.
