Educational Programs

The Old State House Museum provides interpretive programming that correlates not only with the permanent and the temporary exhibits in the museum, but also with the museum's time period and collection policy. Tours and programs can be offered together, or your class or group may decide to choose only a program or a tour. Most programs run about 40-50 minutes.

Most of our programs were designed for youth and school groups or adult groups. Most of the former, however, can be adapted for groups comprised of families with children.

The museum also offers many outreach programs for schools or other groups and organizations. This includes many of our most popular in-museum programs as well as some offered only as outreach programs.
