Capitol Close Up

(Grade 6-12)

An abbreviated glimpse of the Old State House Museum, Capitol Close Up offers a brief history of the building and provide a closer, more detailed look at selected exhibits of varied concentrations. The tour includes topics such as site architecture, political history and women's history. With stops in First Families, the legislative chambers (Senate and House) and changing exhibit galleries. Curriculum included in this educational program is formatted for students that express elevated academic aptitude (gifted and talented, junior high, and high school) and / or interests in the above subjects.
